Five Ds to prevent West Nile virus

* When possible, stay inside at Dawn and Dusk.

* Dress in clothing that covers the skin.

* Drain standing water.

* Use mosquito spray containing 10 to 35 percent Deet.

Opportunities for Volunteers

The NBHH Auxiliary Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held on April 19th, 2005. Fifteen volunteers were able to attend. At their meeting the Volunteers approved the following purchases.

12 additional new dining room chairs $2,000.00

Snoezelen room equipment $500.00

Resident Computer $800.00

Surround Sound for Care Center $100.00

Dolls for Alzheimer's Unit $150.00

Candy for Resident prizes for 3 months $75.00
